Employees from TCG’s Destin regional office spent the day putting up sheetrock and painting the home along with fellow volunteers from Habitat for Humanity who worked on other construction projects around the family’s house.
“It is an honor to work with a renowned charity like Habitat for Humanity in building a home for an entire family and ensuring that they could celebrate the holidays together under one roof,” said Dan Buckner, TCG’s senior vice president of Gulf Coast Region. “TCG is privileged to have been involved in such an amazing holiday cause.”
Each holiday charitable effort is part of Continental Cares, TCG’s year-round corporate philanthropic outreach program dedicated to enhancing the lives of the neighbors, residents and communities it serves. The primary focus of Continental Cares is to assist nonprofit organizations and entities whose missions are aligned with those of Continental Cares.
“The essence of the season is making sure that every family can enjoy the holidays and I encourage all corporations to help make this possible in their local communities,” said Tim O’Keefe, TCG’s CEO.
